Everest panorama Trek program is a great introduction to Sherpa country and its culture, a very popular destination for the first time in Nepal. It provides a good insight into Sherpa culture, close-up and fabulous views of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Amadablam etc., without the struggle with high altitude. The Everest Panorama Trek is best suited for those who do not have enough time for longer trek reaching up to Everest Base Camp. Many people wish to see Everest up close but they do not have time to reach all the way to Everest Base Camp or they might not be well prepared physically for a walk up to Everest base camp but still its obvious that all people wish to get a close view of magnificent high peaks of the world.  Everest Panorama Trek is an ideal tour program for them. If you want to trek together with your family with your elderly parents and little children, and want to see the mighty Everest up close, the Sherpa culture, monasteries, etc. Everest Panorama Trek is the perfect program for you.


 

Itinerary

1

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu And Transfer To Hotel.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, the airport representatives from “Magic Expedition” will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu. In the evening, we complete office formalities. Your accommodation will be at some Standard Hotel in Kathmandu on Breakfast base.

Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, then trek to Phakding (2652m): 3-4 Hours

After having the breakfast in the morning, we get transferred to the domestic terminal of the Kathmandu Domestic Airport to catch our scheduled morning flight to Lukla. Lukla is the starting point of Everest Base Camp Trekking. After an adventurous 30 minute scenic flight above the breathtaking green and white Himalayas, we land on the Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla. Then we meet our porters and other crew members and start Everest Base Camp Trekking, after some packing arrangements. After a few hours of walk, we reach Phakding. We only have a short hike today to assist the proper acclimatization. However, if you are interested, you can also take a side trip to a nearby monastery. We stay overnight at local guesthouse.

Day 3:Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m): 5-4 Hours

This is the second day of your Everest Base Camp Trekking; today, we walk through a beautiful forest of pine. The walk leads us along the bank of the Dudhi Koshi River through many suspension bridges. Hillary Suspension Bridge is one of the famous suspension bridges we will be crossing today. En route, we witness the wonderful views of Mount Thamserku (6618m). We pass through the settlement of Benkar and Monjo and eventually arrive at the check post and entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Before reaching Namche, we also pass through the last village of Jorsale. Our trail further ascends through the forests and bridges until we reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi Rivers. We get the first sight of Mount Everest over the Lhotse and Nuptse ridge just after a final steep ascent for about two hours. To reach Namche, we still have to walk for about an hour and a half further. Namche Bazaar is the gateway of Everest Base Camp Trekking, also the main trading center of the Everest region. We stay overnight at guesthouse in Namche.

Day 4: Namche: Acclimatization and Rest Day

Acclimatization and Rest Day According to the Health Experts, we need to stay active and moving during the rest days instead of being idle. So, we either spend the day taking a day hike to Thame or visiting Khunde or relaxing and exploring the Namche Bazaar itself. Actually, Namche Bazaar is the main center of the Khumbu Region and has many Government Offices, Internet Cafes, ATMs, Restaurants, Shops and other amenities. Our guides will take you to the Tourist Visitor Center near the Headquarter of Sagarmatha National Park, where you can observe an assortment of things which are related to the First Everest Climbers and Sherpa Culture. You will also get to learn about various flora and fauna in Everest Region.

Day 5: Namche Bazar - Khumjung and return

This day is reserved for acclimatization and a very slow ascent into thin air. After breakfast you will start the ascent towards Khumjung. The trail ascends above Namche Bazar and passes through Syangboche (3720m) – this is where the local airport is located. From a hill top above the airport, you will get your first views of Taboche Peak (6 367m), Lhotse (8 414m), Peak- 38 and Ama Dablam (6856m). On arrival at Khumjung (3 780m), you could visit the Hillary School before stopping for lunch at one of the tea houses ‐ the walk takes about 3 hours. After lunch you will continue ascending the foot path to Khunde (3 840m), here you could visit the local hospital before the 2 hour ascent back to Namche Bazar. This day is physically demanding at times and you should be prepared as the weather is very unpredictable. Namche Bazaar is known as the gateway of the Everest Region, visit the local museum where you can see the traditional custom of the Sherpa peoples. You will spend a second night in Namche. Overnight at guesthouse, inclusive of full board meals

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3860m) 5 hrs

The flat and easy trail leads towards the view of Mt. Everest, then descends deep into the Dudh Kosi Valley at Pungki Thanka; from here it ascends the right flank of the Dudh Kosi valley to Tengboche Monastery (3860m). It is the spiritual center of the Khumbu; the climb is long, but more than adequately compensated by views of Mt. Amadablam and on a clear day, views of Mt. Everest and its surrounding peaks. Overnight at guesthouse, inclusive of full board meals.

Day 7: From Tengboche Trek Back to Namche Bazaar 5-6 hrs - Overnight In Lodge-.

After Breakfast We Trek Down To Namche Bazaar With Beautiful Landscap View of Mountain- Overnight In Namche Bazaar-

Day 8:From Namche Bazar Trek Back To Lukla 6 hrs - Overnight In Lodge-

Today trekking trail has descended steeply downward. Therefore, we need to walk slowly and under control as our shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. The trail becomes more level and natural after crossing the suspension bridges over the raging Dudh Koshi River. We start to get warmed up by the light breeze by today. Passing through the lovely forests of pine and rhododendrons, we eventually arrive at Lukla where we stay overnight.

Day 9:Fly From Lukla To Kathmandu (2800m) 7 hrs - Overnight In Hotel-

Early Morning Scenic Flight Back To Kathmandu. And Drop To Hotel. Rest day and Free Time to Shoping-Overnight in Hotel-

Day 10:Drop To The Airport

Drop to the Airport.


Different travellers have different minds; it means different perspectives on travel. Accordingly, considering such different preferences of travelling according to their budget and timeframe, this trip program also can be customised.


Please note That the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and from lukla to Kathmandu gets delayed due to the weather condition and may even be cancelled for one, two, or more days . Such condition can be arise in every season. Hence, in such cases, you must be prepared and must be flexible for long waits both at Kathmandu or Lukla airports, as this can happen either at the start or end of the trek or even both! We do our best to avoid such delays, and fix you on next flight. Still, we suggest you to be prepared for possible delays/cancellation, and if possible to come with some extra more days (1-2 days) at the end of the trip to accommodate such delays. We also organise heli rescue in such conditions, if it’s available and upon request by our clients. The helicopter charges around USD 4000 and it can lift 3 persons per flight. If everything runs smoothly and if you are interest, you can also enjoy other activities like sightseeing, rafting, wildlife activities, shopping, etc during your remaining days.


In case, the flight delay/cancellation happens at the start of trip and it goes so long that it disturbs your ahead travel schedule, you are free to choose an alternative trip: such a trek in the Annapurna, Langtang, or any other regions. If you are not interested in the alternative trip and would rather wait for the trip, you are welcome to wait in Kathmandu for as many days as it takes to get a flight to Lukla. However, please note that there will be no refund, if you lose your time waiting at the airport and do not take an alternative tour or you only do short trek later due to time limitation. If the cancellation happens before the trip, we will provide you accommodation and lunch in a guesthouse in Kathmandu. In case of the flight delay/cancelation after finishing of the trek, you will be responsible for all your expenses. Please also note that you will not be entitled to any refund for the services (such as hotel, transport, flight, etc) included in the package that you would not use later.


Important Note :

Your safety is of more important concern while traveling with Magic Expedition. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is consider in specified way due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure necessitate travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that if Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.

Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos.)
