Jomsom Muktinath Trek commences from Pokhara known as ‘Lake City’ and the trail follows through the beautiful and picturesque valley, Kali Gandaki River to the holy Pilgrimage site, Muktinath. During the hike to Muktinath, the trail offer a splendid view of the mountain as well as a great opportunity to be in touch naturally with dense forest including flowering rhododendron, and the trail also takes to the rugged terrain and rocky cliffs which really look as if it is desert. The Kali Gandaki Gorge is beautified with two towering mountains, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Both are majestic with natural snow. Jomsom Muktinath Trek is beautiful valley inhabitants by Tibetan Buddhists. The valley is rich in the mixed culture of both Hindus and Tibetan Buddhists. The trail ascends up to lower Mustang and ends in Kagbeni enrich culturally with holy monastery and prayer flags.

If you are planning to do Jomsom Muktinath Trek There is 2 gateway for it. Of course, Pokhara is the First Place for starting the trek. But after Pokhara also there is 2 way to commence the Jomsom Muktinath Trek. If you have time for at least 2 weeks it is better to start your trek from Nayapul to Ulleri. And if you do not have time for 2 weeks or less than that you can start your trek directly Fly from Pokhara To Jomsom. This way you can able to complete the trek in very short time.
Type of Accommodation During Jomsom Muktinath Trek?
To go to trekking means you are visiting the remote area so please do not expect every trekking route you will get luxurious room same like in Kathmandu and Pokhara. During trekking, you will sleep at the Tea House. The Tea house means normal Local Lodges. where you will get normal Bed, Blanket, and Common Bathroom. Even for a hot shower also need to pay extra.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel-Overnight at the hotel-
This the very first day that you step in Nepal for the trip. You will be received by our representative in the airport. Our representative will be at the arrival holding placard with your and our company name Magic Expedition. And then, you will be transferred to the hotel. It is around 30 mins drive from the airport to the hotel. There may some hassles like offering taxi or hotel or something like that. Do go with them. And sometimes, in international flight, your luggage may be missing. Be very careful. We hope it will not disturb your trip.
After your arrival at the hotel, you will get refreshed and we will have a short orientation meeting regarding the trip. We will introduce a guide or trip leader. For this, be with 4 pieces of recent pp sized photographs, a copy of passport and copy of travel insurance. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Local Sightseeing in Kathmandu – Overnight in the hotel –
Today, you will go to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site including Swyambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath and Patan Durbar Square. This sightseeing tour commences after your breakfast. You will have lunch during the tour in the afternoon. So, you’d better have some money, Nepali currency is expected. For the whole day, you will be exploring Kathmandu valley, a valley of temples, major historical cultural heritage. Some of the heritages are destroyed by April Earthquake and they are in the course of the renovation. The tour ends at around 4 pm. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3:Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, 6-7 Hours,-Overnight at the hotel-
After your breakfast, the leader or the guide will come to receive to the hotel where you stay and take you to the bus station. This drive takes you Pokhara from Kathmandu. The bus station is around 15 mins. Walk or you may get a taxi too, from Thamel, or from the hotel. The tourist bus leaves at 7 for Pokhara every morning. It takes around 7-8 hours to get Pokhara from Kathmandu. On the way, you will see the winding country road, river, woods and local people and their lifestyle. However, we must say, the condition of the road is not good. Sometimes, bumpy and dusty…. To escape it, you, optionally, can go with flight. It is a 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara which is optional and have pay extra. The domestic airport from Thamel to fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu is 35 mins drive. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 4:Drive Naya Pul (New bridge), to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m) 4 hrs-Overnight at Lodge-
After your breakfast, we drive to Nayapl which is the beginning point of this trek. It is a 1-hour drive from Pokhara to get Nayapul. Then after, we commence our trek to Tikhe Dhunga. It is a pleasant hiking for 2 hours through traditional settlements and green landscapes and prominently, natural falls till we get Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.
Day 5:Trek to Ghorepani (2850m) 6 hrs-Overnight at Lodge
This is the toughest hiking day among all during this trip. Climbing up to Ulleri is a climb to a steep hill with more than 18 hundred stone steps. It is really tiresome. However, the hiking through picturesque settlements, witnessing greenery and natural falls and some mountain views will be mesmerizing to experience. The more you hike up, the more you will begin to see mountain views and green lush rhododendron forest till you reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a beautiful village which offers absolutely views of Annapurna massif. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 6: Hiking -Poonhill (3180m), trek to Tatopani (1200m) 7 hrs-Overnight at Lodge-
You will get up early in the morning before the sun and you will climb up Poonhill. It will take around an hour to the top of it. Poohhill is a vantage point to witness Annapurna Massif, Machhapucchre, Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, Himchuli and Dhaulagiri. There will be hundreds of tourists with their camera ready to the north. As the sun sprays its rays in the mountain, gradually, the mountain begins to glitter. At the very time, the view will be magnificent. Then after, you get down to Ghorepani and have your breakfast. Then, you start hiking through dense forest still witnessing mountain views till you get Tatopani. First, you will descend down to Sikha Village and keep on hiking down to Ghar Khola Village. Finally, you have to climb up to get Tatopani. At Tatopani, you can enjoy hot spring. Overnight in Tatopani
Day 7:Trek to Ghasa (2120m) 7 hrs-Overnight at Lodge-
Today, you will trek through the deep forest until you get Lete Khola (a stream). We further walk and we get the Lete village. We again head further and we get Larjung Village. On the trail, we, experience beautiful landscapes and farms basically orchard. Marpha is famous for an apple orchard and apple wine. Overnight in Ghasa.
Day 8: Trek to Tukuche (2560m) 5 hrs-Overnight at Lodge-
Today’s walk is pleasant. Trekking into a beautiful valley and on your descend through a gorge you will get Jomsom village. Tukuche is famous for the view of Tukuche Peaks. Overnight in Tukuche.
Day 9:Trek to Kagbeni (2800m) 5 hrs-Overnight at Lodge-
Today, you will further head north to Kagbeni. In the afternoon, the weather normally gets windy. From Kagbeni, you will see beautiful mountains Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Tukuche peaks. Overnight in Kagbeni
Day 10: Trek to Muktinath (3800m) 4 hrs-Overnight at Lodge-
Today, you trek begins with a special permit check. Then, you trek along the riverbank of Kaligandaki. On the way, you will view picturesque arid landscapes along with mountain views. Your further climb takes you to Muktinath. Muktinath is a popular pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. A natural flame which never goes out and 108 waterspouts are beautiful things to observe here. Overnight in Muktinath
Day 11:Trek to Jomsom -2600m, 5 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, inclusive of full board meals
Muktinath is a popular pilgrimage site of the journey for Nepalese of both Buddhist and Hindu followers as these two religions are complicatedly woven together in Nepal. We visit the primary sanctuary early in the day and visit its encompassing. We can respect the water gushes before visiting a Buddhist religious community adjacent. From Muktinath, we backtrack our means back to Jomsom, getting a charge out of good views of Mt. Dhaulagiri. Overnight in Jomsom.
Day 12:Morning flight to Pokhara, 20-minutes. Overnight at hotel, inclusive of full board meals
We take an early morning flight to Pokhara. The plane goes through a canyon amongst Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains making the flight itself an astounding knowledge. In the wake of touching base in Pokhara, the wonderful 'Lake City', we can spend whatever is left of the day in recreation. Drifting in the Fewa Lake and walking around the interesting lanes of 'Lake Side' is a prevalent decision among guests. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 13:Drive back to Kathmandu, 6 hrs. Overnight at hotel, inclusive of breakfast
After breakfast, we say farewell to the delightful northern horizon of Pokhara and drive towards Kathmandu. This will be a voyage along river keeps money with awesome views of terraced slopes and the country Nepalese way of life. In the wake of achieving Kathmandu, we take a rest or do some shopping. To commend the fruitful culmination of our excursion, we will have a farewell dinner at night. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 14:Final Departure Drop To The Airport.
According to your flight schedule, we will drop to the airport for the onward flight towards your country or next destination.
