But after Pokhara also there is 2 way to commence the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. You can do this Clockwise and Anticlockwise as well. Yes, most of the trekker they start this trek after driving to Nayapul they hike to the Ulleri. Also, those trekkers who do not love to experience long uphill directly from the Ulleri to Ghorepani and want to experience short uphill they can choose either direct drive to Ghandruk or can walk to Ghandruk.

Type of Accommodation During Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek?

To go to trekking means you are visiting the remote area so please do not expect every trekking route you will get luxurious room same like in Kathmandu and Pokhara. During trekking, you will sleep at the Tea House. The Tea house means normal Local Lodges. where you will get normal Bed, Blanket, and Common Bathroom. Even for a hot shower also need to pay extra.

Food And Drinks?

During Trekking in Nepal. Most of the places you will get Local Foods like Nepali Thali ( Dal Bhat), MoMo, Chowmin, Thukpa, Fried Rice etc and some international food Like Spaghetti, Macaroni, Pizza, Pan Cake, Fried Eggs etc you will get according to the menu. In drinks you can get Local Tea, Coffee, and also even if you request for the water to drinks need to pay extra.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel

You will arrive in Kathmandu today and this is also the first day of the trip. Magic Expeditions’ representative will welcome you at the airport and drive you to the trip hotel. There is nothing planned for the day except our meeting at some point of the day. We will let you know the meeting time on your arrival. You have a free time today to explore the area that you will be staying. Or you can simply stay back at the hotel and take good rest after a long traveling journey.

Day 2: Exploration Day – B

Wake up early morning for a yoga practice session. About an hour of yoga practice will prepare you for the day. The afternoon today is busy with activities. We will take you for an exploration of the heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. You will explore ancient and medieval sites of spiritual, cultural and historic importance. These sites are enlisted in the cultural heritage list by UNESCO. You will explore Swoyambhunath – the oldest monument of all in Kathmandu and an important Buddhist spiritual site, Patan Durbar Square – a medieval royal palace square and a local vicinity, Pashupatinath – an important Shiva temple area where Hindu people are cremated on the bank of River Bagmati, and Boudhanath – the largest Buddhist stupa in the world.

Day 3: Pokhara (900m) – B

You will have another refreshing yoga session in the morning.

We leave Kathmandu today to go to the Annapurna region for our trekking adventure. All our yoga trekking adventure team will leave for Pokhara, 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu, after breakfast. The highway drive will bring you some good views of the surroundings and also of the snow-capped mountains in a clear weather. It will take about six hours to reach Pokhara for a lovely afternoon near the Lake Fewa.

An evening of nice yoga stretching and meditation will rejuvenate you.

Day 4: Tikhedhunga (1,500m) – B.L.D

As usual on the trip, the day starts with energizing yoga practice session.

It is the first day of trekking adventure in the mountains. Get ready to walk for the day but before the walking adventure begins, we will, together, drive to Nayapul for about 1.5 hours. The walk today will be of about 5 hours that will take us to Tikhedhunga for the overnight stay. Trek begins on the dirt road along the Modi Khola bank and goes towards the destination. After checking in to the Annapurna Conservation Area Project checkpoint, you will trek further towards the destination.

After reaching the destination and checking into a teahouse, there is a nice and rejuvenating session of yoga and meditation.

Day 5: Ghorepani (2,875m) – B.L.D

Wake up early for another session of yoga and the first-morning yoga in the mountains. The practice will not only prepare you for the walk of the day but also give you the mountain yoga experience.

The walk for the day goes to Ghorepani through a village and lush forest. You will have to challenge yourself with a steep uphill trek for about 2 hours on the very first part of the day. After Ulleri village, the trail gets better and advances towards a lush forest and continues towards the destination for the day.  Ghorepani will welcome you with a stunning view of the mountains peaks on a clear day.

It will certainly be a nice experience to practice yoga and meditation with the view of magical mountains.

Day 6: Tadapani (2,630m) – B.L.D

It will be a wake-up day before the break of dawn to hike up to Poon Hill. This early morning adventure hike takes you through rhododendron forest to the elevation of 3,210 meters above sea level and exposes you to a breathtaking panorama of the Himalayan range. You will practice yoga on the top watching the mountains change colors as the sun rises. The view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range of the Himalaya will be as stunning as anything on a clear morning.

Later, you will hike down Ghorepani to take breakfast and leave for the day-walk to Tadapani. Once you reach there, you will have another revitalizing yoga and meditation practice.

Day 7: Jhinu Danda (1,750m) – B.L.D

Early morning yoga session with the view of mountains will be an amazing start of the day.

Your destination for the day is Jhinu Danda. It will be of about 5 hours of steep downhill and uphill walking before reaching the destination. Although going steeply up and down the mountain feels difficult, it is rewarding when you reach Jhinu Danda. The place has a natural hot spring pool and fountain on the bank of Modi Khola where you can take a healing and rejuvenating bath and do some riverside yoga stretching and meditation.

Day 8: Day 08: Pokhara – B.L.

Last morning yoga session in the mountain today!

This is the last day of trekking adventure and you will walk for about 4 hours before getting into a jeep to drive back to Nayapul and another 1.5 drive back to Pokhara. The walk and drive to Nayapul will go along the Modi Khola valley and exit the Annapurna Conservation Area. Once in Pokhara, you will have free time to wander around the Lakeside and the town. Take an easy and relaxing time around.

Day 9:  Kathmandu – B

A lovely yoga session in the morning will prepare you for another six hours long highway drive back to Kathmandu today. Once back in Kathmandu, you can enjoy another free and relaxing time wandering around the streets of your neighborhood.

Day 10:  Departure – B

Get ready 3 hours prior to your departure flight. We will come to transfer you to the airport for the flight.
